Inteligencia emocional y potencialidades individuales en la predicción de la calidad de vida

Abstract

[ES] Desde la introducción del concepto de inteligencia emocional por Salovey y Mayer se ha analizado el vínculo entre habilidades emocionales y bienestar individual y felicidad subjetiva. Nuestro objetivo fue analizar la IE influida en la satisfacción vital y la felicidad en una muestra de 103 maestros que cumplimentaron una batería formada por Cuestionario de datos socio-demográficos-Laborales, WLEIS, Big Five, SWLS y SHS. En los análisis de correlación tanto las variables de IE como las de personalidad se relacionan positivamente con la calidad de vida y la felicidad. El análisis de regresión se relacionan mujeres con hijos, los profesores/as con mayor apertura informan de mayor satisfacción vital y felicidad, y la variable percepción intrapersonal, sujetos que no comprenden el origen de sus emociones informan de mayor satisfacción vital, y la variable de asimilación emocional, sujetos que son capaces de reducir o terminar con sus estados emocionales negativos y prolongar los positivos informan de mayor felicidad.

[EN] Since the introduction of the concept of emotional intelligence by Salovey and Mayer has been analyzing the link between emotional skills and personal well-being and subjective happiness .Our goal was to analyze the influence of the vital satisfaction and the happiness in a sample of 103 professors who carried out a battery formed by Questionnaire of Dara Social Demographic, WLEIS, Big Five, SWLS and SHS. In the correlated analysis, both the variable of ie and the personality are related to the quality of life and happiness. The return analysis is related to women with children, teachers also report the great vital satisfaction and happiness and also the variable of intrapersonal perception, people who don't understand the origin of their emotions report more vital satisfaction and the variable of emotional assimilation. People who are able to reduce or to finish with their negative emotional states and to extend the positive will report more happiness.
