Service-learning and other new active methodologies for the integration of ATAL students

Abstract

En este trabajo pretendemos desarrollar una unidad didáctica para la inclusión de los alumnos de ATAL en la clase de inglés con metodologías de Aprendizaje- Servicio. Desarrollaremos varias actividades dinámicas de grupo para fomentar el conocimiento y las relaciones interculturales. Además, los alumnos no sólo aprenderán sobre su entorno cultural, sino también sobre política mundial, religión, etc.

In this paper we are aiming to develop a didactic unit for the inclusion of ATAL students in the English class using Service-Learning methodologies. We will develop several group-dynamic activities to encourage intercultural knowledge and relations. Furthermore, students will not only learn about their cultural environment, but also about world politics, religion, etc.
