Abstract

En la actualidad, existen diversas enfermedades cognitivas, pero la que más presente son las demencias, sobre todo el Alzheimer. Hay diversos estudios que intentan paliar esta enfermedad, pero no tiene cura, por ello, lo único que se puede hacer es reducir la sintomatología. Con esta revisión bibliográfica, lo que se pretende es ver los beneficios de la musicoterapia en los estados cognitivos demenciales que es una terapia alternativa no farmacológica. Para ello se han realizado búsquedas bibliográficas en bases científicas como CUIDEN, Medline, Pubmed, Cochrane. Además de realizar búsquedas en otros portales científicos. Se compone de 12 artículos.
