[EN]The preparation of reagent dissolutions and the dilution of simples following standardized work protocols are essential to perform an analytical determination for two main reasons. First, they are crucial for obtaining optimal and reliable results in the field of biological sample management. Secondly, they are necessary for the correct application of biochemical, microbiological, immunological and hematological analyses in the laboratory. Considering the importance of these basic operations, a didactic unit on the elaboration and determination of dissolutions has been developed. It can be included within the module of General Laboratory Techniques, which is taught in the first course of the Higher-Level Training Cycle of Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory. Key words: Dissolution, basic operation, clinical laboratory, didactic unit
