In the last century, human activity related to the industrial, agricultural and maritime sectors on the planet, together with the climate change produced, have had important ecological impacts on aquatic ecosystems. In this work we have tried to see how these ecological impacts have influenced the aquatic ecosystems of the Spanish territory against the invasions of algae, we have analyzed the state of the water masses of the hydrological demarcations of the areas most vulnerable to contamination by nitrates and the presence of invasive species. We have focused on the case of invasion by Rugulopteryx okamurae due to its rapid expansion on the Spanish coasts and the economic damage it is causing, proposing its use as a fertilizer using the bocashi technique as a possible solution.
