Sistema para la identificación automática de vehículos a partir de fotografías

Abstract

En este trabajo se plantea el problema de crear un sistema de identificación de vehículos haciendo uso de fotografías. Para ello se elegirán, de entre las metodologías actuales, las redes neuronales convolucionales como solución. Este tipo de red neuronal está especializada en procesar imágenes, las cuales son utilizadas para extraer patrones y rasgos de especial interés y, así, lograr una clasificación automática de los datos. Una vez se definan las estructuras de las redes a entrenar y las experimentaciones a aplicar se entrenarán las redes neuronales y se extraerán conclusiones con el objetivo de encontrar la configuración de parámetros óptima para la solución al problema. Finalmente, se creará una página web enfocada al beneficio público del sistema de identificación automático.

In this work the problem of creating a vehicle identification system using photographs is raised. For this, the convolutional neural networks will be chosen as a solution among the current methodologies. This type of neural network is specialized in processing images, which are used to extract patterns and features of special interest and, thus, achieve an automatic classification of the data. Once the structures of the networks to be trained and the experiments to be applied are defined, the neural networks will be trained and conclusions will be drawn with the aim of finding the optimal parameter configuration for the solution to the problem. Finally, a web page focused on the public benefit of the automatic identification system will be created.
