Resumen
Éste trabajo consiste en una revisión bibliográfica de los estudios más relevantes que se han llevado a cabo durante los últimos años sobre el manejo de los psicofármacos en los tratamientos de los trastornos psicológicos. Se pretende conocer el uso generalizado de los antidepresivos, enfocándose en cuanto a la efectividad, los efectos secundarios y las potenciales reacciones adversos ya que con el paso de los años sigue aumentando el número de personas que alguna vez los han consumido. Se ofrece una explicación del peligro que adquiere el prolongado consumo de la medicación, especialmente en el trastorno depresivo.
This work consists in a bibliographic review of the most relevant studies carried out during the last years about the use of this psychotropic drugs in the treatment of mental diseases. The aim of this work is to know he general use of this antidepressants, focusing in the effectiveness, the secondary effects and the potential adverse reactions, as over the years, the number of people who has ever consumed it keep increasing. It is offered an explanation about the danger acquired in the long-term consumption of this medication in most of patients, especially in depressive disorder.
