El trabajo social y el mayor solo

Abstract

Este estudio ha tenido como objetivo conocer la realidad de los mayores que viven solos y tienen autonomía para realizar las Actividades de la Vida Diaria (AVD) en el barrio de la Magdalena de la ciudad de Jaén. Además, se han investigado los hábitos, interrelaciones y capacidad para seguir aprendiendo de estos mayores para combatir el sentimiento de soledad. La sensación de inseguridad y miedo que se puede producir en los mayores en el domicilio, como por ejemplo: el miedo a accidentes domésticos, o a sentirse mal y no tener a nadie a quien recurrir, junto a las sensaciones de malestar y sentimientos de tristeza cuando la persona busca interactuar con otras personas y ve que nadie está disponible para ella, o no significa nada para otros cuando más lo necesita, son algunos de los daños que psíquica y somáticamente puede suponer la soledad. This study has had as aim know the reality of the major ones that live alone and have autonomy to realize the Activities of the Daily Life in the neighborhood of “La Magdalena” of the city of Jaen. In addition, there have been investigated the habits, interrelationships and aptitude to continue learning of major these to attack the feeling loneliness. The sensation of insecurity and fear that can take place in the major ones in the domicile, since for example: the fear of domestic accidents, or to feeling bad and not being had to anybody to whom to resort, close to the sensations of discomfort and feelings sadnesses when the person seeks to interact with other persons and sees that nobody is available for her, or it does not mean anything for others when more he needs it, they are some of the hurts that psychic and somaticly the loneliness can suppose.
