Tratamiento del personaje femenino en tres grandes obras del Realismo español: Pepita Jiménez, La Regenta y Fortunata y Jacinta

Resumen
Este estudio pretende analizar el personaje femenino de las novelas realistas españolas cumbres del siglo XIX, por lo que se irá desde lo más general a lo más particular, comenzando por la explicación del Realismo europeo y español como un fenómeno cultural que predomina especialmente en la literatura, centrando la atención en el Realismo español en el que se halla el Realismo idealista de Juan Valera en su obra Pepita Jiménez; y el Realismo crítico de Leopoldo Alas “Clarín” en su novela La Regenta, y de Benito Pérez Galdós en Fortunata y Jacinta. Y finalmente, después de conocer la novela realista en su conjunto, interesa el personaje femenino en la literatura realista del que se realizará un estudio pormenorizado de las protagonistas de las obras anteriormente mencionadas: Pepita Jiménez, Ana Ozores, Fortunata y Jacinta.
This work tries to analyse the female character of the most important Spanish realistic novel of the nineteen century, starting with an explanation of European and Spanish realism as a cultural phenomenon, predominating specially in the literature and then paying attention to the Spanish realism where the idealistic realism is situated in the novel Pepita Jiménez by Juan Valera; and the critical realism which is situated in the novel La Regenta by Leopoldo Alas “Clarín” and Fortunata y Jacinta by Benito Pérez Galdós. And finally, after knowing the realistic novels as a whole, it’s interesting to deal with the female character in the realistic literature of which will make detailed study of the main female characters from the novels before mentioned: Pepita Jiménez, Ana Ozores, Fortunata and Jacinta.
