Resumen
Este estudio sobre El Trabajo Social en el ámbito de la Adopción, se desarrolla bajo un análisis documental de revisión bibliográfica, a partir del cual se pretende dar a conocer el papel y las funciones desempeñadas por los/as profesionales del Trabajo Social en materia de adopción, así como el proceso de adopción ha ido evolucionando con el paso del tiempo. Se mostrarán los nuevos perfiles de los solicitantes de adopción y de los/as menores susceptibles de ser adoptados, además de las características, criterios de promoción de la adopción, requisitos, así como otra serie de medidas de protección de menores.
This study on Social Work in the field of Adoption is developed under a documentary analysis of literature review, from which it is intended to show the role and functions on the subject of adoption, which are performed by professional social workers, as well as how the adoption process has evolved over time. Both new adoption applicant profiles and minors who are liable to be adopted will be shown. Furthermore, this study is about features, criteria for adoption promotion, requirements and another set of measures to protect minors.
