Resumen
El propósito de este trabajo de titulación es presentar el desarrollo y resultados de una propuesta didáctica sobre el aprendizaje integrado de contenido y lenguas extranjeras en un contexto de educación superior. La propuesta es incorporada en premisas y teorías relacionadas a inglés como medio de instrucción, con la idea de concebir una propuesta innovadora parar ser, en este caso específico, aplicada a alumnos de primer semestre de la Universidad de Guayaquil en la materia de inglés. Desarrollar habilidades para aprender inglés se ha convertido en un problema que necesita ser abordado de una manera oportuna, incluyendo la educación superior. El diseño metodológico de la propuesta es delineado hacia una propuesta didáctica que permita la simplificación del conocimiento que se aplica a un gran rango de ambientes educativos. Eso significa que, por medio de métodos, una serie de estrategias enfocadas en el aprendizaje de inglés se pueden desarrollar.
The purpose of this work is to present and discuss the development and outcomes of a didactic proposal concerning to the integrated learning of Content and Foreign Languages in a higher education context. The proposal is embedded in premises and theorizations related to English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) with the idea of conceiving an innovative approach to be, in this specific case; applied to first semester of EFL course at the University of Guayaquil. Learning and developing better English language skills has become a thorny issue that needs to be addressed in a timely manner, including in higher education. The methodological design of the proposal is outlined towards a didactic approach that allows for the simplification of various knowledge applied to a wide range of environments.
