This thesis seeks to provide insight into multiethnic approaches to motherhood with the aim of pinpointing the socioeconomic and sociopolitical factors directly affecting non-white mothers residing in America, giving way to severe precarious conditions which hamper these women's task and generating a sentiment of condescendence on the part of white families at the impossibility of said women to provide their daughters with the comfort occidental families do possess on account of capitalism.
