Relación entre Inteligencia Emocional Grupal, Engagement Grupal y Satisfacción Laboral en Trabajadores.

Abstract

Este trabajo explora el papel de la Inteligencia Emocional Grupal (IEG), su relación con el engagement grupal (EG) y la satisfacción laboral (SL). Participaron 97 trabajadores de una fábrica de velas y de acero participaron completando las pruebas de IEG WEIP (conciencia de las propias emociones, su gestión, conciencia de las emociones de los otros y su gestión), EG (vigor, dedicación, absorción y engagement total) y SL (satisfacción con la supervisión, ambiente físico y prestaciones recibidas). Los análisis de correlaciones mostraron relaciones directas y positivas entre las dimensiones del Weip, EG y SL, excepto 􀍞conocimiento de las emociones de los otros􀍟 􀆋ue 􀆌elacio􀅶ó positi􀇀a􀅵e􀅶te las dimensiones de EG pero no las de SL. Los análisis de regresión lineal mostraron la capacidad predictiva de las dimensiones del Weip sobre las dimensiones del EG y las dimensiones de SL. Los resultados muestran el papel predictor de los componentes emocionales sobre estos dos constructos.This work explores the role of the Emotional Intelligence in workgroups and its relationship with the groupal engagement (GE) and the working satisfaction (WS) of those groups. A total of 97 participants belonging to a candle and a steel factories, passing this tests: Emotional Intelligence Groupal WEIP (own aware, own manage, other aware and other manage), GE (vigor, dedication, absorption and total engagement) and WS (satisfaction with the supervision, satisfaction with the physical workplace and satisfaction with the benefits received). The correlation analysis showed the direct and positive relationships between 3 WEIP components dimensions and the GE and the WS dimensions, not happening the same with the di􀅵e􀅶sio􀅶 􀍞othe􀆌 a􀇁a􀆌e􀍟 that was positive related with the GE dimensions but not with the WS dimensions. The linear regression analysis showed the predictable capacity of the WEIP dimensions about the GE dimensions and the WS dimensions. The results highlight the predictable role of the emotional components about those constructs.
