El olivar: una cuestión de rentabilidad

Abstract

En este trabajo se van a diferenciar dos temas diferentes pero relacionados a su vez. Por un lado nos centraremos en la Política Agraria Común y su transformación a lo largo de los años y en las medidas tomadas para proteger el medio ambiente gracias al Pacto Verde Europeo, así como la posición que adopta España ante estos cambios. El segundo tema tiene como protagonista al olivar, donde veremos cómo debido a las políticas anteriormente comentadas propiciarán la expansión del olivar y los problemas que ello genera; también veremos cómo evolucionaran los precios de las ayudas destinadas al olivar en los próximos años. Con estos dos temas el objetivo que se pretende lograr es conocer la situación en la que se encuentra el olivar y si su producción va a seguir siendo rentable su explotación en la provincia de Jaén.

In this work we will distinguish between two different but related topics. On the one hand, we will focus on the Common Agricultural Policy and its transformation over the years and on the measures taken to protect the environment thanks to the European Green Pact, as well as the position adopted by Spain in the face of these changes. The second topic focuses on the olive grove, where we will see how the aforementioned policies will lead to the expansion of the olive grove and the problems that this generates; we will also see how the prices of aid for the olive grove will evolve in the coming years. The aim of these two topics is to find out the situation of the olive grove and whether its production will continue to be profitable in the province of Jaén.
