Resumen
[ES] Este trabajo supone una propuesta desde la Educación Secundaria Obligatoria sobre el empleo del
patrimonio arqueológico de época íbera en la Provincia de Jaén. La variedad de yacimientos,
investigaciones, material arqueológico documentado e instalaciones para su puesta en valor, ofrecen una
gran oportunidad para el desarrollo de programas educativos. Mediante la recopilación y análisis
bibliográfico sobre el legado íbero jiennense, constituiremos una base de recursos didácticos para
elaborar nuestra propuesta docente. Los aspectos abordados vendrán a reforzar la información recogida
en el actual currículo de Educación Secundaria, trabajando contenidos diversos de carácter histórico,
competencias clave, habilidades educativas transversales y problemas socialmente relevantes. En el
desarrollo de nuestro trabajo apostamos por el patrimonio local y su puesta en valor, no solo como
elemento dinamizador sociocultural, sino también como un potencial recurso educativo de calidad,
atractivo y motivador para el alumnado.
[EN] This master thesis proposes an approach in which the archaeological heritage of the province of Jaén, specifically from the Iberian period, will be used as didactic material in Secondary Education (Educación Secundaria Obligatoria). The variety of sites, ongoing research, archaeological materials and the facilities aimed to protect and to spread the knowledge of our heritage represent a great opportunity for the development of educational programs. Through the compilation and bibliographic analysis of the Iberian legacy of Jaén, we will create a data base to elaborate our didactic/ teaching proposal. The aspects addressed will reinforce the information collected in the current Secondary Education curriculum, working on diverse historical content, key competences, transversal educational skills and other socially relevant discussions. The work carried in this master thesis is committed to local heritage and its enhancement, not only as a sociocultural dynamic element, but also as a potential educational resource that will be attractive for the students as well as motivational.
