MedSpell: corrector ortográfico médico

Abstract

A lo largo de este trabajo se elabora un corrector ortográfico médico basado en el sistema sanitario español. Este corrector está contextualizado en la situación en la que el facultativo elabora un informe médico. Después de su elaboración, comprueba en el diccionario, creado con un corpus médico, los posibles errores ortográficos y devuelve las diferentes alternativas para cada palabra errónea detectada junto con el porcentaje de concordancia existente con la palabra original. Del mismo modo, y en el caso de informes extensos, se ha elaborado el corrector con la funcionalidad de que se pueda consultar la ortografía en dicho informe en cualquier momento, sin que esté finalizado.

Throughout this work, a medical spelling checker based on the Spanish health system is developed. This corrector is contextualized in the situation in which the physician prepares a medical report. After it has been prepared, it checks the dictionary, created with a medical corpus, for possible spelling errors and returns the different alternatives for each erroneous word detected together with the percentage of agreement with the original word. In the same way, and in the case of extensive reports, the corrector has been created with the functionality that the spelling in the report can be consulted at any time, without it being finished.
