La Guerra Civil en España adquirió muy pronto un carácter internacional, hecho que lleva a afirmar a muchos historiadores que la Guerra Civil fue un precedente que allanó el terreno a la Segunda Guerra Mundial. En este TFG se desarrolla la movilización, participación y recuerdo de los hombres y mujeres que viajaron desde todo el Mundo a España y cuyo objetivo era ayudar a la República española. El estudio abarca desde el reclutamiento de los brigadistas en sus países de origen hasta su memoria individual y colectiva, pasando por su organización, estructura interna en Albacete, participación en las batallas del conflicto y su retirada en otoño de 1938.
The Spanish Civil War quickly acquired an international character, leading many historians to believe that the Civil War was a precedent that paved the way for the Second World War. This Final Degree Project explores the mobilization, participation, and remembrance of the men and women who traveled from all over the world to Spain with the goal of assisting the Spanish Republic. The study covers everything from the recruitment of the brigadiers in their countries of origin to their individual and collective memory, including their organization, internal structure in Albacete, participation in the battles of the conflict, and their withdrawal in the autumn of 1938.
