Patología Dual y trastorno de la adicción: un abordaje desde el trabajo social

Abstract

Este trabajo plantea la relación entre los ámbitos de salud mental y la drogodependencia y la intervención que se realiza desde el Trabajo social, siendo muy importante la prevención. A través de una revisión bibliográfica sistemática se analizarán primero ambos trastornos por separado para poder entender cada problemática en profundidad y así, poder después, establecer la relación entre ambas. Analizaremos también el papel del trabajador/a social, siendo fundamental su labor en coordinación con el equipo multidisciplinar, así como el papel de las familias. Hoy en día se van produciendo avances y mejoras en las intervenciones con las personas que padecen patología dual pero aún queda mucho camino por recorrer hasta que se pueda alcanzar la atención integrada que se necesita

This work raises the relationship between the areas of mental health and drug addiction and the intervention carried out by Social Work, with prevention being very important. Through a systematic bibliographic review, both disorders will first be analyzed separately in order to understand each problem in depth and then be able to establish the relationship between the two. We will also analyze the role of the social worker, with his or herwork in coordination with the multidisciplinary team being essential, as well as the role of families. Nowadays, there are advances and improvements in interventions with people who suffer from dual pathologies, but there is still a long way to go until the integrated care that is needed can be achieved
