Resumen
El objetivo de este trabajo es estudiar la inclusión laboral de las personas con discapacidad intelectual en España. Para ello se realiza una revisión de artículos, informes y documentos estadísticos que ponen de manifiesto los avances y retos aún pendientes. Pretendemos con la elaboración de este estudio describir el contexto y evolución de la noción de discapacidad intelectual para, posteriormente, ofrecer los datos que describen el panorama de la inclusión laboral en la actualidad.
Seguidamente, se exponen en este trabajo las políticas y medidas de empleo vigentes en España, que fomentan la integración laboral y social del colectivo. Con todo y desde el punto de vista del trabajo social se realiza un análisis crítico del tema. Prestando a lo largo de este trabajo una especial atención a las personas con discapacidad intelectual, en concreto, aquellas con Síndrome de Down.

Whit the elaboration of this study, we intend to describe the context and evolution of the notion of intellectual disability, and then offer the information that describe the panorama of labor inclusion currently. Later, I expose in this work the existing policies and employment measures in Spain, which promote the labor and social integration of the collective. Whit everything and from the point of view of social work, I do a critical analysis of the subject. Throughout this work, I provide special attention to people with intellectual disabilities, in particular those with Down Syndrome.
