Diseño de un programa de intervención psicológica dirigido a mujeres con síndrome de Fibromialgia

El síndrome de Fibromialgia (SFM) se caracteriza por dolor musculo-esquelético generalizado de carácter difuso acompañado de síntomas somáticos como hiperalgesia y alodinia. Ademas, también se acompaña de alteraciones en el sueño, cansancio, fatiga, problemas de concentración, ansiedad y depresión que afectan a la calidad de vida de los pacientes. En cuanto a su etiología, es desconocida y actualmente, no existe un tratamiento de elección para el SFM. El objetivo del presente trabajo es realizar un Programa de Intervención para mujeres con SFM en pos de la mejora de la calidad de vida de estas. El análisis de los resultados de dicho programa se hará mediante una evaluación pre-post tratamiento, a través de la aplicación de diferentes pruebas y cuestionarios. Finalmente, se hará una estimación de los resultados esperables donde se espera, en general una mejora de la calidad de vida de las pacientes con SFM.

In addition, it is also accompanied by sleep disturbances, tiredness, fatigue, concentration problems, anxiety and depression which affect quality of life of patients. Its etiology is unknown and currently, there is no treatment of choice for FMS.
