Resumen
El objetivo del presente trabajo es sintetizar los aspectos más significativos que conciernen al fenómeno hipnótico, a fin de que el lector obtenga sus propias conclusiones. Para ello, se ofrece una breve y documentada información sobre las diversas conceptualizaciones propuestas hasta el momento, a la vez que se desarticularán aquellos mitos que dificultan su comprensión. Por consiguiente, también se refleja, motivo de su relevancia, el eterno debate iniciado entre las antagónicas vertientes teóricas del estado o no de conciencia. Posteriormente, se reforzará nuestro conocimiento acerca del potencial vínculo establecido entre atención e hipnosis, pudiéndose enlazar con los múltiples aportes realizados por la hipnosis clínica al ámbito de la salud y la enfermedad. Finalmente, se delimitarán sus áreas de aplicación y grado de efectividad, exponiendo asimismo en todo momento investigaciones y conclusiones extraídas de autores eminentes en la materia.
The purpose of this project is to summarize the most significant aspects in relation to the hypnotic phenomenon, in order that the reader is able to draw their own conclusions. With this aim, it will be provided some short and documented information about the different conceptualizations occurred up to now. Also, those myths which complicate its understanding will be broken. Consequently, and due to its importance, the eternal discussion between the conflicting theoretical aspects about the state or consciousness will be reflected. Then, our own knowledge about the potential connection established between attention and hypnosis will be reinforced, being able to connect with the many contributions made by clinical hypnosis to the field of health and disease. Finally, its application areas and effectiveness will be delimited, considering the exhibition, at any moment, of investigations and conclusions obtained from eminent authors in this subject.
