Cáncer de mama y emociones positivas: programa de intervención

Abstract

Numerosos estudios demuestran los beneficios de las emociones positivas en pacientes diagnosticados con la enfermedad de cáncer. Es necesaria la investigación en este campo, ya que la cifra de nuevos casos es cada día más elevada. El objetivo del presente documento es crear un programa de intervención, dirigido a mujeres que padecen cáncer de mama, cuya finalidad es aumentar el optimismo y fomentar el humor, disminuyendo a su vez la ansiedad y la depresión. Las hipótesis planteadas son: 1. En el grupo experimental una vez realizado el programa de intervención se observará un aumento del optimismo y del humor, y una disminución de la ansiedad y la depresión, con respecto al grupo control en lista de espera. 2. En el grupo experimental una vez realizado el programa de intervención, se producirá un aumento del optimismo y del humor, y una disminución de la ansiedad y de la depresión, dichos cambios perdurarán el tiempo.Several studies prove the benefits of the positive emotions in patients diagnosed with cancer. Research in this field is necessary, as the number of new cases is increasing every day.The target of this document is to create an intervention programme, directed to women that suffer from breast cancer, whose purpose is to increase the optimism and to foster the humour, reducing the anxiety and the depression at the same time. The contemplated hypotheses are: 1.It will be observed an increase of the optimism and of the humour once the intervention programme is done in the experimental group and a decrease of the anxiety and of the depression, according to the control group on the waiting list. 2.
