Attention to diversity in the CLIL approach. A practical proposal

Abstract

[ES]En los últimos años, el enfoque AICLE ha experimentado un avance significativo, implementándose en un gran número de centros educativos. La respuesta que este enfoque debe dar a todos los alumnos en el aula, constituye una de las principales líneas de investigación que se deben desarrollar para garantizar una educación inclusiva y de calidad. El presente trabajo ha tenido como objetivo la elaboración de una unidad didáctica de Ciencias Naturales trabajada a través del enfoque AICLE, teniendo especialmente en cuenta aquellas actividades que faciliten la atención a la diversidad, tanto a nivel general del aula, como de alumnos con necesidades específicas de apoyo educativo. Partiendo de una contextualización donde se desarrolla la actividad docente, así como de una fundamentación teórica sobre los principios que sustentan la enseñanza bilingüe y la inclusión, se ha diseñado una unidad didáctica con todos los elementos del currículo.

[EN]Over the last years, the CLIL approach has undergone significant progress, being implemented in a large number of educational centers. The response this approach should give to all students in classrooms constitutes one of the main lines of research that must be developed to guarantee and inclusive and quality educational system. The objective of this work is the elaboration of a Natural Science teaching unit worked through the CLIL approach, mainly using activities which facilitate attention to diversity, both at the general level of the classroom and for students with specific educational support needs. Starting from a contextualization where the teaching activity is developed, as well as a theoretical foundation on the principles supporting bilingual teaching and inclusion, a syllabus has been designed including all the elements of the curriculum.
