Feminismo y Prehistoria: una experiencia necesaria en el aula de secundaria.

Abstract

[ES]En el presente trabajo se planteará un enfoque feminista de la Prehistoria, a partir de las nuevas lecturas e interpretaciones de las representaciones artísticas de la época desde una perspectiva de género. Prestaremos especial atención a investigaciones en las que se demuestra a través de esculturas de pequeño tamaño y pinturas rupestres que las mujeres no solo tenían un papel fundamental en cuanto a la reproducción y cuidado de los nacidos, sino que realizaban otras tareas importantes para asegurar la pervivencia del grupo. Dentro de estas actividades, prestaremos especial atención al rol de las mujeres prehistóricas como artistas, basándonos en uno de los estudios que afirma que las mujeres fueron en gran parte las ejecutoras de estas pinturas rupestres.

[EN]In this work, a feminist approach to Prehistory will be proposed, based on new readings and interpretations of artistic representations of the time from a gender perspective. We will pay special attention to research that shows, through small sculptures and cave paintings, that women not only played a fundamental role in reproducing and caring for newborns, but also carried out other important tasks to ensure survival of the group. Within these activities, we will pay special attention to the role of prehistoric women as artists, based on one of the studies that affirms that women were largely the executors of these cave paintings.
