Efectos de la suplementación con HMB en deportistas: una revisión bibliográfica

Resumen
OBJETIVO: determinar la eficacia de la suplementación de HMB en sujetos deportistas. MÉTODO: Se realiza una revisión bibliográfica para agrupar los artículos que estudian los efectos del HMB en deportistas. La búsqueda se realizó en la base de datos de PubMed , utilizando las palabras clave como "HMB", "high intensity interval" y "β-hydroxy-β-methylbutyric". Todos los artículos pasaron por unos criterios de inclusión/exclusión y su calidad fue validada por la escala PEDro. RESULTADOS: Del total de 15 artículos encontrados, el estudio se ha realizado analizando 6 de ellos, los cuales pasaron los criterios de inclusión. Tres de ellos tenían una calidad alta, dos una calidad muy alta y otro con calidad moderada.
