Calidad del movimiento en educación infantil. Una aplicación práctica

Resumen
El objetivo del presente trabajo es determinar la calidad del movimiento en niños del segundo ciclo de Educación Infantil. Se seleccionaron 25 alumnos/as de 4 años de edad a los que se les evaluó el equilibrio, la flexibilidad y la coordinación con los siguientes test: salto horizontal, flexibilidad de hombros, test del flamenco, caminar de puntillas en una línea recta, el gateo y el bote de balón.
A partir de los resultados obtenidos se elabora una aplicación práctica denominada “la semana del Yoga” con el objetivo de mejorar los resultados en el futuro. Así se ha desarrollado en una semana concreta durante el curso escolar como es la semana del Yoga. Por medio del Yoga se contribuye no solo a la mejora de la calidad en el movimiento del alumnado sino también a la atención, el control de las emociones y la respiración, todo ello relacionado estrechamente con la disciplina del Yoga.
The aim of this study is to determine the quality of movement in children in the second cycle of Early Childhood Education. Twentyfive students aged 4 years who were assessed for balance, flexibility and coordination were selected with the following tests: horizontal jump, shoulder flexibility, flamingo test, tiptoe walking in a straight line, Crawling and the ball. From the results obtained a practical application is elaborated denominated "the week of Yoga" with the aim of improving the results in the future. Thus it has developed in a specific week during the school year as it is the week of Yoga. Through Yoga, it contributes not only to the improvement of the quality of student movement but also to attention, control of emotions and breathing, all closely related to the discipline of Yoga.
