Proceso de desarrollo económico en sierra sur

Abstract

[ES] La agricultura en España ha sufrido un gran cambio en los últimos 50 años, lo que ha hecho que haya lugares en los que hay un exceso de población con respecto a los momentos anteriores al cambio agrícola, ya que la tecnificación ha producido que se necesite menos mano de obra y esos territorios no han incorporado actividades industriales que absorban la población agrícola excedente del campo, por lo que ha tenido que emigrar, en algunos casos a las ciudades y en otros a países extranjeros donde hay más actividad industrial y de servicios, y por lo tanto mayores oportunidades de trabajo. El problema de los territorios agrícolas es la despoblación y la falta de oportunidades de trabajo para nueva gente con un mayor nivel de formación, por tanto la despoblación de estos territorios continúa y se agrava con el paso del tiempo. Para solventar los problemas de la comarca Sierra Sur se han puesto en marcha numerosos planes de desarrollo.

[EN] The agriculture in Spain has suffered a big change in the last 50 years. It has created places where there is an excess of population according to the previous situation before the agricultural change took place, considering that the technical progress has made that less workforce is required and those territories have not introduced industrial activities that take up the agricultural population coming from the country. It has made those people to emigrate, in some occasions, to big cities and, in others, to foreign countries where there is a bigger industrial activity and services, and of course, more job opportunities. The problem of agricultural territories is the depopulation and the lack of job opportunities for new people with a higher educational level, therefore the depopulation of these territories continues and it is even worse with the pass of the time. To solve the problems of the Sierra Sur region, they have launched numerous development plans.
