Resumen
Se propone este trabajo con el objetivo de elaborar e implementar un programa de
rehabilitación neuropsicológica en alcohólicos, principalmente dirigido a 16 sujetos que
acuden al centro AJAR de Jaén. Para diseñar este programa, se han estudiado diversas teorías
que sustentan la base de la adicción y los mecanismos de acción y alteraciones
neuropsicológicas y emocionales más frecuentemente asociadas al uso abusivo del alcohol.
Con respecto a los estudios sobre programas de tratamiento tradicionales, se encuentran
altas tasas de abandono y recaídas, debido a que este tipo de programas necesitan un
funcionamiento óptimo de diversas funciones neuropsicológicas que en estos sujetos se
encuentran alteradas. Por tanto, este trabajo conforma un programa de rehabilitación
neuropsicológica que se puede implementar de forma previa a los programas de tratamiento
clásicos a fin de que, los usuarios puedan sacarles el máximo beneficio y se reduzca el
número de abandonos y recaídas, además de mejorar su calidad de vida y bienestar

Regarding studies on traditional treatment programs, are high rates of abandonment and relapses, due to the fact that this programs need optimum performance of diverses functions that these subjects are altered. Therefore, this work makes up a program of neuropsychological rehabilitation that can be implemented before to the classic treatment programs so that, subjects get the most benefit and to reduce the number of abandonment and relapses, as well as improving its quality of life and well‐being.
