Resumen
Desde la perspectiva de la Geografía con el uso de fuentes bibliográficas, cartográficas y estadísticas se pretende examinar el área de estudio, su medio físico y biológico, los usos del suelo, la población y el poblamiento, las actividades económicas y el mercado de trabajo, junto a las iniciativas de desarrollo y ordenación territorial de la comarca Sierra Cazorla de Jaén formada por nueve municipios (Cazorla, Chilluévar, Hinojares, Huesa, La Iruela, Peal de Becerro, Pozo Alcón, Quesada y Santo Tomé). Proporcionando como resultado del estudio un diagnóstico territorial expresado en una matriz DAFO.
From the perspective of Geography among the use of bibliographical, cartographic and statistical sources, the objective is to examine the area studied, its physical and biological environment, land uses, population, economic activities and the labor market, as well as the development initiatives and territorial planning of the Sierra Cazorla region in Jaén basically formed by nine municipalities (Cazorla, Chilluévar, Hinojares, Huesa, La Iruela, Peal de Becerro, Pozo Alcón, Quesada and Santo Tomé). As a result of the study, there is a territorial diagnosis expressed in a SWOT matrix.
