THE IMPACT OF CLIL METHODOLOGY ON PRIMARY EDUCATION : AN EXAMPLE OF ANDALUSIA

Resumen
[ES] Integrar la cultura en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje del alumnado proporciona una motivación en su trabajo. Gracias a la inclusión de este elemento transversal podemos alcanzar el objetivo de obtener mejores resultados. A partir de la cultura se trabaja una propuesta didáctica de Ciencias Naturales que, siguiendo la metodología AICLE, fomenta la mejora del trabajo interdisciplinar, la mejora del nivel de inglés a través de múltiples tareas bilingües, el contenido de esta asignatura, así como un aumento de motivación del alumnado. Todo ello es posible a través de un proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje gradual y significativo. Junto a este elemento transversal y la metodología AICLE, citada anteriormente, se suman aspectos como la inclusión de valores; estilo de vida saludable, concienciación de la importancia descuidar tu alimentación y tu vida; y la competencia digital, tan demandada en la actualidad.
[EN] Integrating culture in the students’ teaching-learning process provides them with motivation in their work. Thanks to the inclusion of this cross-curricular element, it is possible to achieve the objective of getting better results. From culture, a didactic proposal of Natural Sciences is worked that, following the CLIL methodology, promotes the improvement of interdisciplinary work, the improvement of the level of English through multiple bilingual tasks, the content of this subject, as well as an increase of students’ motivation. All of this is possible through a gradual and meaningful teaching-learning process. Along with this cross-curricular element and the CLIL methodology mentioned above, there are aspects such as the inclusion of values; healthy lifestyle, awareness of the importance of taking care of your diet and your life; and digital competence, so in demand today.
