Body image has become one of the most frequent concerns in life today, for both men and women. This is due to the constant bombardment by society with the need to achieve the “perfect body.” The development of body image begins in childhood and continues throughout life. During adolescence, there are significant physical changes in individuals. These changes can lead to physical dissatisfaction and the possibility of developing an Eating Disorder. One of the therapies used to address problems related to body image and Eating Disorders is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which focuses on accepting concerns and committing to a set of goals and values.
