El apego en las relaciones de pareja y en la sexualidad

Abstract

El apego es un vínculo afectivo que el niño forma desde la infancia con su cuidador principal, convirtiendo a este en su figura de apego. Según la relación que el niño establezca con esta figura, desarrollará un estilo de apego seguro o inseguro. El estilo de apego adquirido influirá no solo en el comportamiento del individuo en la niñez, si no que tendrá gran influencia en las relaciones interpersonales que se establezcan en la adultez. Este trabajo se centra en la influencia que tiene el apego en los distintos comportamientos de las personas al involucrarse en una relación de pareja y su influencia en diversos aspectos de la sexualidad.

Attachment is an affective bond that the child forms from childhood with his primary caregiver, making him his attachment figure. Depending on the relationship the child establishes with this figure, he will develop a style of attachment that is safe or unsafe. The style of attachment acquired will influence not only the behavior of the individual in childhood, but will also have a great influence on the interpersonal relationships established in adulthood. This work focuses on the influence that attachment has on people’s different behaviors by engaging in a partner relationship and their influence on various aspects of sexuality.
