Relación entre las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TIC) y obesidad y sedentarismo en Educación Infantil.

Abstract

En este trabajo de investigación se analiza la relación que puede existir entre las tecnologías de la información y comunicación (TIC) con la obesidad y el sedentarismo en Educación Infantil. Se trata comprobar cómo están influyendo las TIC en la vida de los alumnos, ya que cada vez dedican más tiempo a realizar actividades sedentarias que conducen a la obesidad infantil. El objetivo general es conocer en qué medida influyen las TIC en el desarrollo del sedentarismo y obesidad. Así mismo hemos analizado el uso que estos le dan a las TIC y que manera tienen los padres a la hora de dejarlos utilizar. Una de las conclusiones que se puede destacar es el incremento del uso de las TIC en edades cada vez más tempranas y cómo en algunas ocasiones los niños prefieren estar usando el móvil o tablet antes que dar un paseo o hacer actividades físicas.

This research work analyzes the relationship that may exist between information and communication technologies (ICT) with sedentary lifestyle and obesity in Early Childhood Education. It is about analyzing and verifying how ICT is influencing the lives of students, since they dedicate more time doing sedentary activities that lead to childhood obesity. The general objective is to know to what extent ICTs influence the development of sedentary lifestyle and obesity. In addition, We have analyzed the use that these give to ICT and how parents have when it comes to letting them use them. One of the most important conclusions is the increase in the use of ICT in ever younger ages and how on some occasions children prefer to be using their mobile or tablet before than taking a walk or doing physical activities.
