CLIL and active methodologies: an integrated didactic proposal for 3rd year of primary education

Abstract

[ES]Esta Tesis de Maestría (Tesis MA) se basa en un estudio sobre metodologías activas en el enfoque AICLE y la importancia del aprendizaje significativo en los estudiantes. Para su desarrollo, se ha basado en primer lugar en una revisión teórica que nos ha permitido abordar el enfoque AICLE, sus principios y los beneficios que conlleva su aplicación; las bases de una de las metodologías activas (Aprendizaje Cooperativo); y el uso de las TIC en clase. En segundo lugar, tomando estas hipótesis como referencia, he diseñado una Propuesta Didáctica que pretende poner en práctica la teoría. Además, con esta Tesis de MA pretendo responder a las siguientes cuestiones:

- La importancia del aprendizaje significativo en los estudiantes.

- El enfoque AICLE. ¿Cómo planificar según la metodología AICLE?

- Beneficios de metodologías activas y TIC.

- Teorías de aprendizaje, como el constructivismo y el conectivismo de Siemens.

[EN] Thesis is based on a study on active methodologies in the CLIL (Content and Learning

Integrated Learning) approach and the importance of meaningful learning in students. For its development, it has been based in the first place on a theoretical revision that has allowed us to focus on CLIL, its principles and the benefits that its correct application entails; the bases of one of the active methodologies (Cooperative Learning); and the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). Secondly, taking these hypotheses as a reference, I have designed a Didactic Proposal that aims to put theory into practice. In addition, with this MA Thesis I intend to respond the following questions:

- The importance of meaningful learning in students.

- The CLIL approach. How to plan according to the CLIL methodology?

- Benefits of active methodologies and ICTs.

- Learning theories, such as Constructivism and Siemens’ Connectivism.
