Resumen
Actualmente tanto empresas como consumidores están adquiriendo una mayor concienciación sostenible y son mayores sus exigencias con respecto a una de sus dimensiones, como es el respeto por el medio ambiente. Por ello, en este trabajo se analiza el comportamiento de las empresas exportadoras de aceites de oliva de Andalucía con respecto la adopción de los diversos certificados ambientales especialmente, la ISO 14001 que es el más aceptado a nivel mundial. Por otro lado, también se pretende conocer las principales motivaciones y barreras para su adopción como estrategia comercial. Los resultados revelan un comportamiento poco activo de las empresas con respecto el uso de los certificados, a pesar de ser su actividad principal la exportación.
Nowadays, both companies and consumers are becoming more aware of sustainable development and demands are greater, as for as one of its environmental dimensions are concerned. Therefore, this essay is aimed at analysing the behavior of the exporting companies of olive oil in Andalucia regarding the adoption of the various environmental certifications, especially ISO 14001, which is the most accepted one worldwide. On the other hand the main motivations and barriers for its adoption as business strategy will be analysed. The results reveal that companies is less active regarding the use of certifications, in spite of their exporting activities.
