Resumen
[ES] El presente trabajo desarrolla una investigación cuantitativa sobre los posibles problemas a la hora de
adquirir la competencia comunicativa en Inglés como Lengua Extranjera, mediante una encuesta
realizada a una muestra del alumnado de Educación Secundaria de Andalucía, que sirve para determinar
si las diferentes estrategias metodológicas asociadas al enfoque comunicativo se están llevando a cabo
en cada caso y cómo esto influye en su proceso de adquisición de la competencia comunicativa.
[EN] This paper develops quantitative research on the possible problems in acquiring communicative competence in English as a Foreign Language, through a survey of a sample of students in Secondary Education in Andalusia, which serves to determine whether the different methodological strategies associated with the communicative approach are being carried out in each case and how this influences their process of acquiring communicative competence.
