Materiales y Métodos: Los estudios fueron seleccionados tras realizar una búsqueda bibliográfica en: Pubmed, PEDro, ScienceDirect, Scopus, CINAHL, utilizando las palabras claves “neck pain”, “thoracic manipulation”, “spine manipulation” y “mobilization spine”. Todos los estudios seleccionados fueron puntuados con la escala PEDro. Resultados: Tras la búsqueda se obtienen 162 artículos, finalmente se analizaron 11 artículos. Los estudios fueron clasificados en cinco grupos según el tipo de intervención aplicada: Tipos de manipulación torácica, manipulación torácica frente a placebo, manipulación cervical y movilizaciones, y otro grupo de terapia manual frente a terapia física. Conclusión: Se puede afirmar que la manipulación dorsal es beneficiosa en pacientes con dolor de cuello, aunque sería necesario investigar más sobre este tema.Objetive: Bring together the main evidence currently available to determine the effectiveness of the spinal manipulation in patients diagnosed with neck pain. Materials and methods: Studies were selected after conducting a literature search in databases : PubMed , PEDro , ScienceDirect , Scopus , CINAHL , using the keywords "neck pain", "thoracic manipulation ", "spine manipulation " and " mobilization spine ". All selected studies were punctuated with the PEDro scale. Results: 11 studies were analyzed. These studies were classified into five groups according to the type of applied intervention : Types of thoracic manipulation , thoracic manipulation versus placebo , cervical manipulation and mobilization, and another group of manual therapy versus physical therapy.
