Además, es necesario mencionar que para llegar a esta meta nos hemos acercado a la dictadura militar de Alvarado, un periodo crucial para conocer las novelas de Vargas Llosa relacionadas con la historia del Perú. A partir de una aproximación estructuralista e histórica a estas novelas, se pone de relieve en este trabajo la relación entre la sociedad, el poder, las jerarquías y el militarismo, en los pueblos latinoamericanos.The objective of this essay is to analyze the concept of militarism in these Vargas Llosa’s novels: The Time of the Hero, Captain Pantoja and the Special Service and Who Killed Palomino Molero? Furthermore, it is necessary to mention that in order to achieve this goal; we investigated some of the history of Peru related to Alvarado’s military dictatorship.
