Efectos subletales de los insecticidas: resistencia comportamental de insectos

Abstract

El uso de insecticidas de síntesis no provoca la muerte en todos los insectos, sino que hay algunos que reciben dosis subletales, que afectan a diversos aspectos fisiológicos y conductuales. como consecuencia de su aplicación regular, se generan linajes con mecanismos que les permiten eludir la acción tóxica de los insecticidas. mediante un despliegue de trampeo en un agroecositema objetivo, y la aplicación de un tratamiento insecticida a pequeña escala, los resultados permiten dilucidar el tipo de manejo del que es objeto, en particular si es tratado regularmente con insecticidas (manejo convencional/integrado) o si estos no estan siendo aplicados, y por tanto corresponde a un manejo ecológico.

The use of synthetic insecticides does not kill all insects; some receive sublethal doses that affect various physiological and behavioral aspects. As a consequence of their regular application, lineages are generated with mechanisms that allow them to evade the toxic effects of the insecticides. By deploying traps in a target agroecosystem and applying a small-scale insecticide treatment, the results allow us to elucidate the type of management it is subject to, in particular whether it is regularly treated with insecticides (conventional/integrated management) or whether these are not being applied, and therefore corresponds to ecological management.
