Herein, the results obtained of the synthesis and structural characterization of three complexes of general formula [ReCl(CO)3L] that potentially can act as liberating carbon monoxide molecules (CORMs) are collected. For it, we have synthesized three ligands derived from 6-amino-1,3-dimethyluracil with different substituents at the 5 position of the ring which have been reacted with pentacarbonyl rhenium (I) chloride. Both ligands and complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, IR spectroscopy and NMR.
