[EN] Many researches suggest the importance of lexical information implied by predicates in the selection of the imperfect and indefinite verbal forms made by Spanish learners as a foreign language, as it was formulated by Andersen in 1986. For a better understanding of the acquisition of these two verbal forms, we will make a review of the principal theories regarding the nature, as well as those related to the acquisition. Finally, we will analyze the role that the four aspectual classes play in 30 compositions written by Chinese learners of Spanish as a foreign language with different levels. The results suggest that there is no doubt of the influence of lexical aspect on the selection of imperfect and indefinite made by Chinese learners of Spanish as a foreign language.
