Samanta Schweblin: abrazar la tradición del cuento fantástico argentino para seguir progresando

Abstract

Lo fantástico tiene rasgos en común con el mundo donde la lógica es la regla hegemónica. Hablar de la dicotomía entre realidad y ficción es vetusto ya que, contrario a lo imaginado, las fronteras de ambos términos quedan difuminadas y lo que aparentemente resulta irreal encuentra autenticidad, de alguna forma, en una profunda pesquisa. Este trabajo analiza los elementos figuradamente ilusorios, que dan pie a diferentes interpretaciones y que contribuyen a su vez al arribo de nuevas propuestas en tanto a la resolución de problemas. La escritura de Samanta Schweblin invita a recapacitar sobre históricos preceptos como el concepto de maternidad, los roles de género y, en definitiva, sobre el modelo de sociedad actual.

The fantastic tale shares characteristics with the world where logic is the base upon it is built. Talking about the dichotomy between reality and fiction is old-fashioned since, contrary to what might be thought, the boundaries of both terms are blurred. In this sense, what is apparently unreal finds authenticity, in some way, in a deep analysis. This work examines the figuratively illusory elements, which give rise to different interpretations and which contribute to the arrival of new proposals in terms of problem solving. Samanta Schweblin's writing style invites us to reconsider historical precepts such as the concept of motherhood, gender roles and, ultimately, the current society model.
