LINARES FUTURO (UN VIAJE INTROSPECTIVO POR MI CIUDAD)

Abstract

[ES]En este trabajo de investigación artística abordaré la situación social y laboral de mi ciudad, Linares, desde un punto de vista sonoro y visual. Realizando un recorrido fotográfico por el pasado industrial, comercial, y urbano de la ciudad. Este recorrido parte de la subjetividad, de una búsqueda en la memoria, y en la memoria de la ciudad. De una experiencia propia y emocional que ha brotado en mí tras la vuelta al lugar de mi nacimiento tras casi veinte años. Como muchos otros que abandonan su hogar durante un tiempo, ahora vuelvo y siento muchas veces que ya no reconozco esta tierra, o al menos a mí perteneciendo a ella. Sé que la mayoría de mis antiguos amigos marcharon fuera, como yo, lejos en búsqueda de nuevos horizontes. La mayoría de ellos no han podido volver o no han querido y quizás leyendo las próximas líneas y viendo las siguientes imágenes entendamos por qué. [EN]This artistic research aims to talk about the unemployment and the social situation of my city, (Linares). From a musical, and visual point of view, making a route around the industrial, trading and urban past of the city. This route starts within subjectivity, looking back inside my memory, and in the collective memories of the city. This research reflects my own emotional and personal experience after my comeback to Linares after twenty years. Like may others who leave their home during a period of time, now at my return I feel many times that I cannot recognize my land or maybe myself as a part of it. Most of my old friends left the city, like me, looking for new horizons. Too many of them have never come back may be because they can ́t or may be because they don ́t want.
