(EN)Gaps in teacher training for teaching classes in a second language may mean that concepts such as translanguaging are not fully explored. Most teachers do not know when it is appropriate to allow their students to speak in their mother tongues so that they develop content and skills in areas that they cannot develop in a second language (L2). Through qualitative research, based on a literature review and observations as a bilingual teacher, this question will be addressed. The objective is to provide indications of how to favor the inclusion of all students following Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL).
