This didactic unit is included in the fourth block of the « Physic and chemistry » subject, « The movement », specifically the « Atmospheric pressure ». It will be held in five 1‐hour sessions and it includes one activity of project based learning with Arduino. Active methodologies will be used because they have demonstrated to be, not only effective for Sciences learning by numerous investigations, but motivating and inclusive. Cooperative learning, inquiry, experimentation, contextualization, debate and ICT Technology are included. It is intended to make the students learn the scientific contents as well as to connect them to useful aspects of their everyday lives, at the same time that the enjoy the process encouraging them to study physics. Transversal themes, as Climate change, gender equality, global justice and cultural heritage, are included. They are directly linked to meteorology, but rarely studied together with physics studies.
