La educación intercultural como respuestas a las necesidades de una sociedad multicultural

Abstract

El eje central sobre el que se sustenta esta revisión bibliográfica es el enfoque educativo intercultural, enfoque más que necesario debido a la amplia diversidad cultural existente en España. Para entender la relación entre diversidad y educación, este trabajo partirá del concepto de cultura y establecerá la diferencia entre multiculturalidad e interculturalidad. Por otro lado, realizará una aproximación a la pluralidad cultural española, así como a los fenómenos migratorios que han dado lugar a la misma. Además, se analizará la situación actual del alumnado de origen inmigrante que en muchas ocasiones y con motivo de los prejuicios existentes, se encuentra recluido en centros gueto. Finalmente, como respuesta educativa a esta segregación, nos centraremos en la educación intercultural y se expondrán una serie de pautas para ofrecer una respuesta educativa de calidad a todo el alumnado, independientemente de su nacionalidad o etnia

The central axis on which this literature is based is the intercultural educational approach, this approach is very important for the cultural diversity that exists in Spain. To understand the relationship between diversity and education, this work starts from the concept of culture and establishes the difference between multiculturalism and interculturalism. On the other hand, this final project makes an approximation to the Spanish cultural plurality, as well as to the migratory phenomena that have originated it. In addition, it analyzes the current situation of the student of immigrant origin who in many occasions because to the prejudices, is confined in ghetto schools. Finally, as an educational response to this segregation, we will focus on intercultural education and will present a series of guidelines to offer a quality educational response to all students, regardless of nationality or ethnicity.
