Resumen
Con este trabajo se pretende dar a conocer el procedimiento de evaluación y acreditación de las competencias profesionales, adquiridas por la experiencia laboral y/o por vías no formales de formación, que asumen las administraciones educativas y laborales competentes para habilitar a las personas que desarrollan su actividad profesional en la atención a personas dependientes en el domicilio. A través de una investigación no experimental transeccional correlacional-causal, se ha tratado de determinar las posibles vinculaciones entre la percepción que tienen las personas candidatas, integrantes de la muestra, acerca de sus competencias profesionales y los requisitos generales exigidos para la acreditación de competencias: edad, experiencia laboral y formación. Así como, la valoración que las personas cuidadoras otorgan a su nivel de desempeño. Los resultados han demostrado que no existe correlación significativa entre las variables a excepción de la edad, categoría para la que se establecen procesos de asociación con las actividades profesionales de las unidades competenciales de la cualificación profesional.
