El alumnado gitano en las aulas universitarias españolas

Abstract

El alumnado gitano en las aulas universitarias españolas es una revisión bibliográfica sobre la inclusión de la comunidad gitana joven en la universidad. Se trata de una investigación que nos permitirá conocer un poco más cómo accede el alumnado gitano a la universidad, su historia, si existen programas y políticas de inclusión para dicho alumnado en estas instituciones, qué tipo de grados estudian o si existen reconocimientos académicos otorgados a población gitana, entre otras cosas. Asimismo, incluye varias entrevistas realizadas a alumnado gitano que se encuentra actualmente en las aulas. Con estos testimonios podremos conocer por ejemplo, cómo decidieron estudiar en la universidad o qué tienen pensado hacer en su futuro más próximo. Además, tras realizar dicha investigación reflexionaremos si aún se siguen dando episodios de marginación y exclusión social en el ámbito educativo, sobre todo en la universidad.

Gypsy students in Spanish university classrooms is a bibliographical review on the inclusion of the young gypsy community in the university. This is an investigation that will allow us to know a little more the Roma students reaches the university, its history, if there are inclusion programs and policies for these students in these institutions, what kind of degrees they study or if there are academic awards granted to them, among other things. It also includes several interviews with gypsy students that are currently in the classrooms. With these testimonies we can learn, for example, how they decided to study at the university or what they plan to do in their nearest future. In addition, after carrying out this research we will reflect on whether there are still episodes of marginalization and social exclusion in the educational field, especially in the university.
