[EN] The Reconquest or War of Granada by the Catholic Monarchs (1492) has marked a before and after in history. The Conquest of Granada is often referred to as one of the first wars of the Modern Age and the last with medieval features, and these fifteenth-century personalities are often described in both written and audiovisual media in a certain way. In this work I want to carry out a current review of the way to teach this historical process in class and how to explain it to students in a way focused on cinematographic resources in addition to the investigation into the figures of the Catholic Kings and the introduction of the historical discourse, the which is very present in our lives in one way or another, and that many times it is necessary to keep it in mind so as not to fall into historical anachronisms.
