MUJERES Y DEMOCRACIA: DEL OLVIDO A SU INCLUSIÓN EN CLASE. UNA PROPUESTA DIDÁCTICA PARA EL ESTUDIO DEL SUFRAGIO FEMENINO EN 4º DE ESO

Abstract

[ES] En este trabajo abordamos el tratamiento didáctico del sufragio femenino en España. En la primera parte se realiza un repaso por el tratamiento que la historiografía ha dado a la historia con perspectiva de género para después centrarnos en los beneficios de ello para el estudio de la Historia, así como la inclusión de la interseccionalidad para su desarrollo. En la segunda parte presentamos una propuesta de Unidad didáctica dirigida al alumnado de 4º de la ESO y centrada en el estudio, análisis y comprensión de lo que supuso la aprobación de un derecho fundamental como el del voto femenino. Gracias a la inclusión de metodologías novedosas y que tienen al alumnado como protagonista de su propio aprendizaje, el estudiantado podrá desarrollar debates reales en clase, además de mesas redondas con personas de su entorno más cercano. El objetivo es que el alumnado sea capaz de entender lo que supuso la aprobación del derecho al sufragio femenino y lo hagan no solo con los libros de texto delante, sino con experiencias reales.

[EN] In this work we consider the didactic treatment of female suffrage in Spain. In the first part, a review is made of the treatment that historiography has given to history with a gender perspective and then we focus on its benefits for the study of History, as well as the inclusion of intersectionality for its development. In the second part, we present a proposal for a Didactic Unit aimed at 4th year ESO students and focused on the study, analysis and understanding of what the approval of a fundamental right such as female voting entailed. Thanks to the inclusion of new methodologies that have students as protagonists of their own learning, students will be able to develop real discussions in class, as well as round tables with people from their closest environment. The objective is for students to be able to understand what the approval of the right to female suffrage entailed and to do so not only with textbooks in front of them, but with real experiences.
